Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.

These reviews led me to RepairTech and I am very pleased in my experience. I don’t feel I was taken advantage of, common concerns with auto repairs. I left to get recommended services at another location and was met with genuine professionalism and expertise. I left the shop without a guarantee that I would return for future services and was still treated as a valued customer. I highly recommend for your auto services.

I had a great experience with Repair Tech Automotive. My girlfriend’s car was showing signs of a blown head gasket, and we weren’t sure if it might also be the water pump. Her dad, who is a mechanic, came down from out of town to help but we didn’t have all the tools we needed to properly diagnose it. After calling around to several shops with no luck, I called Repair Tech Automotive and spoke with Charley. He was extremely helpful and was able to get us in the same day. He personally checked the car and confirmed there was coolant leaking in. He also verified that the water pump was fine. What stood out most was how honest and reasonable he was. Charley explained our options clearly, didn’t try to upsell anything, and made sure we fully understood the situation. I really appreciated the honesty, quick service, and the time Charley took to walk us through everything. I would definitely recommend Repair Tech Automotive to anyone looking for a shop they can trust.

I can’t say enough great things about Repair Auto Tech! After my Jeep Grand Cherokee sat for months and after spending a lot of money at the dealership—plus rental costs—I was beyond frustrated. The dealership failed me, but these guys took care of everything! From the start, their communication was excellent, keeping me informed every step of the way. And the best part? I finally got my Jeep back, running perfectly—and CLEAN! Unlike the dealership, they actually returned my vehicle in pristine condition, which was a pleasant surprise. My family and I are incredibly grateful to have found this shop. The experience was smooth, honest, and stress-free. If you’re looking for a trustworthy and skilled team, Repair Auto Tech is the place to go! Thank you again!
